Four hundred years of chaos filled the eyes, ears and earth right before the man building the boat. While the darkness stood thick around him, he preached from the overflow within him. Noah, the righteous man in his generation, we can only imagine the darkness that surrounded him and yet he never ceased to hope in the Word of God. Peering in to the light, the darkness must have vanished, so too in our generation, we are experiencing the thick darkness present because the dawn is coming soon. The coming of our Messiah is imminent and as His shadow touches the earth, the darkness is running wild! Yet brothers and sisters, this is no time to focus on the darkness and on the works of darkness, this is a time to lift up your head for our redemption is drawing ever nearer. Noah is a picture of the faithful remnant alive in this generation, of the faithful children of Elohim, who have washed their robes, learned to serve and have entered in to the inheritance covenant of God.
Lot on the other hand, represents the generation of believers who are likewise alive in our very day. While Lot is mentioned as a righteous man, he was a carnal man, drawn to the materialism so present in his own day. He was a saved man, like many around us, yet he failed to fully give it all. He lacked the heartfelt desire to trade in his selfish desires to become a child of the Most High God.
In this teaching, I examine these characters along with Revelation 3 and the mysterious open door that has swung open for the faithful in our generation.
Just like Noah, YHVH will seal His faithful leading them through the door of truth into proclamation. He will give them the keys of inheritance, their only inheritance being Yeshua Messiah Himself. Like Noah, we are alive in the darkest hour, yet the darkness is merely a shadow because the Light of Life Yeshua, is about to return. This teaching is a message of hope, a true call to rise up men and women of God because the open door is before you, rise up and be counted!
