Yom Teruah is one of the most important festivals and one that holds a clear prophetic message for this generation. The two witnesses are being raised up, forerunners will be sent forth and the trumpet blasts on Yom Teruah, are more significant then we realise. This feast will come and many will miss the message, but now is the time to draw in to the significance of this holy day, once shrouded in mystery but now being revealed to our generation. Could it be that the time has come for these forerunners to be sent out soon? You decide.
The beautiful fall feasts are drawing near and the time of celebration, reflection, joy and growth are here again. We begin this season of celebration with the Feast of Trumpets or as its called in Hebrew, Yom Teruah. Much tradition and false custom has come to be celebrated within these feasts and sadly, these customs and traditions have over ridden and replaced the purity of the biblical mandates for these feasts. In this teaching, Aliyah outlines the biblical requirements for celebrating this feast today.

Luke in his gospel takes us beyond the crowds into the inner circle of Yeshua’s most faithful followers, into the company of His most trusted disciples. Luke names the 12, and then he names 3. Three women are in the inner circle, and among these women is Joanna. A woman of nobility and wealth, a woman who risked it all to follow the Messiah.
Often, the Promised Land feels like a reality only when a God given promise is fulfilled. Or a hope is seen or touched. But the redemption of Israel was with the goal of bringing a unified people into a Promised Land. So how does that apply to us? Is our promised land now? Is it covenant based? Zachariah in chapter 4 sees a vision of a lampstand with a bowl at its top. On the stand was seven lamps with seven spouts leading to them. He also saw two olive trees -one on the right-hand side of the bowl and the other on its left. For many, this cryptic vision which appears almost like a riddle, may be hard to grasp, unravel and understand and that is alright, for the prophet Zechariah himself could not grasp its understanding at the onset. The meaning of these verses is vitally important for us to understand as it is coming into fruition within these final days. Not only are these verses significant to this time in history, these verses should become meaningful and personal to us as children of God.
