In this short teaching Yosef takes a look at the History of Halloween and its pagan roots. As believers in Messiah we are called upon to expose the fruitless works of darkness and to have nothing to do with that which is unholy. Yet today, many so called believers have no issue in letting their children TRICK or TREAT and partake in this festival for the dead, if that is you, I urge you to reconsider your ways and repent of your actions. If we want to understand the mysteries of YHWH we need to abandon all forms of profanity and embrace His Appointed times.
We meet the infant Moses on the banks of the Nile, enclosed in a small wicker basket. His life hanging in the balance, his fate uncertain. His mother Jochebed knew Pharoah would kill her son, so she placed him safely in the reeds, sad and defeated. It would seem that the tiny boy might perish in the reeds. But Yahweh had a different plan. Pharoah's daughter came down to the river to bathe and found the Hebrew baby. Moved with compassion, she saved him and took him as her own son. In this teaching, Aliyah sifts through history in order to discover the identity of Pharoah's daughter.

This day is special, a day with depth and goodness for the present, and filled with hope and foreshadow for the future. Praise Yeshua there is a wedding coming and it will be a most glorious one. The problem is everyone wants to be under the Chuppa and everyone wants to be the bride, but will they? As we head towards the festival of Sukkot I believe that Yeshua has been preparing His bride and guiding her to his heart. Many are called but few are chosen. This is a hard fact that many seem not be able to comprehend. How ready have you made yourself for your Groom?
You wouldn’t know it, but destiny is still coming, and the future looks glorious, not without pain or trial, but you will see greater things for Yahweh has chosen you. From among the millions, you are favoured by His Hand, you cannot know it now or see it, but the Great I am does and He is preparing you, right in the furnace of fire, right in the grip of pharaoh. Right where it’s dark and empty, where slave songs fill the morning air and prayers of anguish fill the night sky. The day of Atonement is a chance for us to take stock of our lives and to repent, get ready and to ask Him to change us. To realise that He is the one who has paid a great price to draw all men unto Him and to reconcile us to Himself. The Bride will be those who have heard and are ready. “Those to have listened will truly hear, those who hear will obey and those who obey will reflect”. There is no more time for half-heartedness and compromising in this Kingdom. Your heart needs to be steadfast and secure on the author and perfector of your faith.
