Speak on, Teach on – Women in the Melchizedek Priesthood

Yosef and Aliyah are so happy to be back on air for this week’s Coffee Break Hour! This weeks broadcast focused on the context of women in ministry and the freedom of YHWH’s children to operate in their giftings, in their Messiah Yeshua. Yosef dug in to the meaning of 1 Timothy, with its hard to understand verses about women learning in silence. Aliyah spoke about some of the women who served as co – workers like the apostle Junia and Phoebe, along with some of the women who were killed by prominent church fathers. They also took a brief look at the mutual submission that characterises Paul’s exhortation to married couples, along with the correct understanding of Ephesians 5 and the often mistranslated Greek word, “kephale.”
