Martha and Mary of Bethany have so been on my heart since yesterday afternoon. A friend of mine will journey to Israel in 3 weeks time and she mentioned that although she would love to visit Bethany, the modern day town is not visit-able. After this conversation, the Ruach hakodesh (Holy Spirit) quickened my heart to these two beautiful women, Mary and Martha and I wondered so much about having breakfast at their home. They both are so much a part of the great cloud of witnesses who so cheer us on daily (Hebrews 12) and as I started asking Yeshua about their legacy and their lives, He shared a lot with me about Martha and Mary, in particular the beautiful and misunderstood Martha.
