Zelophehad’s Daughters – Women of Inheritance

In the book of Numbers, five women, daughters of the tribe of Manasseh, stepped forward with conviction. "Give us land, a property inheritance in borders of the Promised Land. Our father had no sons, only daughters so why should our father's name disappear from among Israel?" In making this request, these daughters petitioned for a change in the Law. In this teaching, Aliyah unpacks their request and how their words impacted generations upon generations of Israelite women. Also, finding biblical women and their names in historical or archaeological documents is often extremely difficult. Yet, the daughters of Zelophehad appear elsewhere, proving their existence and their impact. This exciting truth reveals their legacy! Join Aliyah for this rich, profound teaching on these women of inheritance, Machlah, Noa, Hoglah, Milcah and Tirzah.

Generational Blessings

This week on the Restoration Hour, it's a time of encouragement and depth as Aliyah and Yosef unpack the death of Korah and his household in Numbers chapter 16. At the heart of this broadcast is family, generational blessings instead of curses, the power to choose and to stand up to what is wrong (even if that means standing up to family members).

The Importance of Intimacy with the King

The Importance of Intimacy with the King

We live in a time of fast food and quick fixes, where people place YHVH into their lives not their lives into YHVH. It’s this type of religion that will cause you to step into spiritual quicksand and maybe never recover. Today people are happier buying a devotional book then actually sitting and making the time to pray and hear the voice of Yeshua. They are happier reading the words of anointed preachers and teachers than actually taking the time to seek first the kingdom of Yeshua.

Our walk with Yeshua is one of commitment and determination. If we are willing to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, then He is faithful to empower us through His Holy Spirit. Join Yosef as he shares how important intimacy with Yeshua is.

Who was Candace of Ethiopia ?

Who was Candace of Ethiopia ?

When Philip meets the Ethiopian eunuch on the road to Gaza, we are told that this mysterious man is the state treasurer to Candace, queen of the Ethiopians. But this strange description is inaccurate and the Candace, was never an Ethiopian queen. So who was she, and what kingdom did she rule over? In this teaching, Aliyah unpacks the importance of Candace, and her kingdom, a kingdom that ruled Egypt, and featured as a world player on the stage of history for thousands of years. It's a kingdom South of Egypt, and it's history is rich with fierce warrior queens who fought against Rome, and immortalised their victories in temples and pyramids. This is a story from the pages of the Bible that tell of the history of Africa, and its female queens.

Shavuot – A Holy Spirit Mandate

Happy Shavuot!
Last night, Aliyah and Yosef celebrated the feast by looking at the parallels between Acts 1 and Peters sobering words in 2 Peter 3. Peter’s words speak to the life all believers should be living while waiting for Messiah Yeshua’s return, a reminder to pursue holiness as a daily pattern. They also challenge us with the revelation of our generational mandate. A mandate that has progressed from that given to the first disciples, but one that is vitally important for us as the final generation.

Was the Torah given on Shavuot?

As we near the wonderful biblical feast of Shavuot, we are often told, that the purpose of Shavuot was so that Israel during their wilderness sojourning could receive the Torah. Many parallels between the Sinai experience and the Acts experience of being filled with the Holy Spirit are compared and marvelled at. ” However, the purpose of this teaching is to uncover what the Bible says about this somewhat mysterious day of Shavuot and to uncover how it came to be connected with the giving of the Torah. Was the Torah really given at Mount Sinai? Is Shavuot a time to remember this moment, or is Shavuot an entirely different feast with a unique purpose? This teaching digs deep and answers these important questions!

Towards a Spirit Filled Shavuot – The Separation

There is a great refinement taking place in the body of Messiah and we need to understand why and make sure we are allowing the fire to purify us. As we wait for Shavuot we need to be praying for the fire of refinement in our lives to burn up all that is not of YHWH and to help us to be a vessel worthy of His glory. In this teaching, Yosef takes a look at the life of Moses as it relates to maturity and suffering as a tool of YHWH to build our character. The question we all have to answer is do we have the right garments on?

How to hear the Voice of God

This week on the Restoration Hour, Aliyah and Yosef challenge us to hear the “now” word of God. By unpacking some important truths about God’s voice, how to hear it, how it differs from our own voice and how to seek His Words, they present us with the beautiful reality that Yahweh is always desiring to speak to us. They also take us into the lives and stories of two prophets, one who never knew the Voice of God, and another who was so broken from life, that Yahweh’s Voice came to Him in an unexpected way. This broadcast was described as “an incredible blessing,” tune in and experience it for yourself.

Mixing Truth & Error

This week it’s fired up! Yosef and Aliyah straight talk on the recent mixing of Easter and Passover and the reality that is now facing those pursuing truth. The reality to decide on standing strong for truth. They also address the need for holiness, the call to let go of all that is unholy and how many are falling into the trap of mixing truth and error, and ultimately falling prey to a false Messiah.
