Yahweh led the Israelites out of Egypt, with a mighty victory and plunder loaded on to the wagons, they went out in to a new time of freedom. Yet as they took their freedom walk in to the dawn of a new day, they found themselves camping by an impossible sea with the bloodthirsty chariots of Pharaoh hot on their heels.
