This week’s coffee break was both enjoyable and exciting! Focusing on the Torah portion for this passed week, Yosef and Aliyah take a look at the sin of Korah, the sin of presumption, and desiring someone elses position in the body. They take a look at how this relates to leadership today and how leadership selected by YHWH should be the only one we truly listen to. They also discuss the fight for holiness and they answer the question that Korah pronounced as truth, can the whole assemble truly be called holy? They touch on the parable of the talents and what we should be doing for the kingdom, as well as contentment with the gifts you have been given.
