This week I decided to do a video teaching for our Torah thought, there was just simply too much that Yeshua was sharing with me through the 53 laws presented in this week’s portion. That’s right, 53 of our Torah ordinances are presented in this one parsha, and they are so beautiful!
This weeks portion focuses on the civil matters of the law, how we are to treat servants, how we are to treat one another, our neighbours animals, the stranger and it even addresses the issue of pre – marital intimacy! As I prepared this teaching my heart was really broken for some of the more pressing issues of slavery in the world today, like human trafficking and child brides. Aiming to make these torah principles practical and applicable, this teaching is a challenge to think about how much Torah really means and how practical it really is!
