To begin, we must ask ourselves the question, what does it really mean to be a disciple of Yeshua? Many today lay claim to the fact that they are Torah-keeping followers of Yeshua but if you examine and discern the nature of their walk, you will come to find that they are not really walking on the path that Messiah desires for them to be on and they are not truly keeping all of His Torah.

 

Many today are happy to sit in a Torah class where they study the Parasha each week yet they do nothing else. They remain focused on greedily acquiring knowledge which they feel was robbed from them in the church. They study the weekly Parasha but neglect to study the New Testament alongside their Torah studies. If we are to become the priests in the order of Melkitzadek we need to have a firm, Spirit-led balance between the Torah and the New Covenant writings.
