Yom Kippur has begun! So this week, Aliyah and Yosef reflect on the very real difference between forgiveness and atonement. Although tradition and teaching has merged the two concepts, they are in fact very different. They also discuss collective atonement and the gap in the Yom Kippur service that makes space for the incense offering. Digging into the spices in the incense offering, they present the symbolisms in each one as it applies to atonement. It’s a full, beautiful broadcast that will bless you as you enter this holy feast.
The race set before us is a long one, an enduring one. In this life though, there are hurdles and obstacles. We grow tired and need that calm, comforting, encouraging hand on our backs.

The gospel was given to us by a Loving God. His character and love for all His creation meant that no one has ever been denied His continual offer of salvation. Yet, the wicked heart of humankind is what keeps us from receiving that salvation, acknowledging our sin and committing to a lifestyle change. The priesthood of the Melchizedek is a resonating topic, one that is paramount to our walk as disciples of Yeshua Messiah. Yet, to be a priest is not something to be grasped at, it's something that requires a deep walk of holiness. Being set apart from the world and living with a daily crucifying of our fleshly nature, is part of living as a priest. Without holiness no one will see Elohim, and without holiness one cannot truly be the priest YHWH has called us to be. In this teaching, Yosef discusses the cost of becoming a Tzadik and helps us understand the importance of walking in Holiness and Maturity.
